What’s the alternative to the lbd? It’s the lbj! Now, unless you want to see a bunch of pictures of LeBron James, DO NOT type in #lbj on Instagram! Take my word for it! I love a classic black jumpsuit just as much as I do a Little Black Dress. It’s a great wardrobe staple to have, and can be dressed up or down, and be worn to any type of venue. A black jumpsuit is also great for packing and taking on a trip, as it’s one complete outfit. Anything to make life easier is always a plus in my world. What I love about this beauty is the open, lace-up waist. It really updates this classic jumpsuit. I also love the sultry plunging neckline, as well. These details really add up and make this quite the interesting piece. This Little Black Jumpsuit is very chic.

My mid-section is not my most flattering area. And even if it was, at my age, unless you are wearing a high waisted skirt and a cropped top that meets it, you really shouldn’t be doing anything cropped that’s going to expose that particular area. This jumpsuit design is perfect as the lace-up detail hits high on the waist and gives just that peek of skin. This jumpsuit is lined, and is also a very rich, heavier fabric. I probably would not wear this to an outdoor evening event during the summer .. because of how heavy the fabric is. But for anything indoors, where the air-conditioning is full throttle, it would be perfect. We will be in NYC next week and going to the theatre. You just know it is going to feel like a refrigerator in there …  such a pet-peeve of mine. I want to be stylish, but I also NEED to be warm and comfortable to enjoy myself. This jumpsuit will be PERFECT! This Little Black Jumpsuit could easily be worn year round.

Let’s not forget my love for nude shoes. There is a time and a place for black shoes. For me, it is usually a pointy toe heel, booties or boots … especially over-the-knee … which will be here before you know it!
