This Is Not Heaven (And That’s the Point)
This is not heaven—and remembering that truth changes everything. When hardship shows up, it doesn’t mean something has gone wrong. Instead, it reminds us that this world is broken. And that means difficulty is not a sign of failure or weak faith. In fact, you are always in one of three places: walking into a battle, walking through a battle, or walking out of one.
When you stop expecting perfection here, suffering loses its power to derail you. Instead of breaking you, it begins to shape you. Growth, character, and spiritual strength are built in the struggle—not in comfort. When your life is rooted in faith, you can move through even the hardest seasons with peace, purpose, and hope.
