The Makeup Look You Loved

You all noticed this makeup look and that’s what inspired today’s post. In one of my recent videos, the comments were flooded with compliments about the teal shadow + peach-sheer lip combination, which is funny because I rarely ever lean warm in my cheek and lip tones. But the contrast against that deep teal blouse must have been the magic combo, because this look got more attention than anything I’ve worn in a long time.

So today, I recreated it as best as I could remember — not as a tutorial, but more of an encouragement to play. As we move into the holidays, maybe it’s time to push yourself a little with color. Sometimes all it takes is one shade on the lid and a slight shift in your lip tone to see yourself with fresh eyes again. And you just might end up loving what you didn’t expect.
