Motherhood Was A Role — Not Your Identity

If you have attached your identity — your worth, your value, your purpose — to a past season of life, especially the season of raising children, I want you to hear this clearly: motherhood was a role, not your identity. Your purpose didn’t expire when your children grew up and moved into their own chapters. That role was a beautiful assignment, yes. It shaped you. It stretched you. It mattered. But it was never the sum total of who you are.
God preordained your purpose long before you ever became a mother, and that purpose continues long after the “raising” season ends. Do not let the enemy convince you that your meaning was tied to that season. You are still called. You are still chosen. You are still here on purpose — for purpose. This is simply the next season where you get to walk out the gifts, wisdom, and spiritual muscle He developed in you along the way.
