A tranquil mood, Pale Dogwood is a quiet and peaceful pink shade that engenders an aura of innocence and purity. The unobtrusive Pale Dogwood is a subtle pink whose soft touch infuses a healthy glow.
DRESS: Nordstrom or Revolve ( I ordered a AUS 10/US 6 – Small) PERFECT!!!
I will be taking this dress to my seamstress, Maria. She sees me often. I have a certain ‘tweaking’ that I have done to ALL my dresses … even if the size I ordered is perfect. My body is very straight up-and-down. I have what would be considered a rectangular shape. By having my skirts and dresses altered slightly to taper in at the bottom (think Pencil), creates more the illusion of the ideal ‘Hourglass’ shape.
BRA: I am not going to be able to wear a strapless bra with this dress. In situations like this, I will have Maria sew in bra pad inserts. Lift is not an issue for me. However, I do require coverage.

FRAGRANCE: Jo Malone ‘Peony & Blush Sage’ This has got to be the most perfect wedding day scent. In fact, if I were a Bride, this or Velvet Rose & Oud is what I would wear on my wedding day. They are the most delicious florals. I also have and love Wood Sage & Sea Salt
You may already know that Blush is one of Pantone’s Colors Of The Year. It is actually called ‘Pale Dogwood’. But those of us in the fashion industry, like to use the term ‘Blush’ to describe this color. With Spring wedding season fast approaching, I could not resist embracing this beautiful shade. It is such a feminine and romantic color to wear for a special occassion. This dress is so classy and chic. It’s no wonder it took me weeks to get my hands on it. It is everything I envisioned for a spring wedding, and more. I really wanted to embrace a monochromatic look, incorporating this color in everything: shoes, bag, jewelry pieces, etc. Everything is pulling together perfect. I am so pleased. Now I just have to find a nice tie for the hubs. If you come across one, send it my way.

Beautiful, you will look gorgeous! I too am wearing blush for my daughter’s wedding. I’ve watched all your YouTube videos and have learned so much.
I’d love your suggestions for eye, lip & cheek colors when wearing blush. What makeup combos will you be wearing for the wedding? Maybe another video? 🙂

With the Spanish Pink Lipstick, I generally wear my favorite lip pencil by Essence. It’s the one I mention in my Best of Videos + posts. For cheeks with the Spanish Pink .. again, probably my favorite blush palette that I mention in my posts (B.H. Cosmetic’s). Gloss could vary. But probably Mac or YSL. I would look at one of my posts where I am wearing the Spanish Pink and go off of that.
