I am loving this Sleeveless Knit Cowl Neck TunicI don’t need to go into much detail about why. You can hear my reasons and see another way to style this beauty in my previous blog post. I love both styles. I feel the Faux Leather Leggings dresses it up more, where as the Jeans give off a more fall-casual vibe.

    Hi Tracy!

I love your style! You seem like such an awesome mother but are still able to keep up on maintaining yourself as well. I’m a young wife (we’ve been married almost 2 years) who is transitioning to a stay at home wife without children yet. My husband and I own two family businesses and this decision just made the most sense at this time. Eventually we plan to start a family but not for a few more years. Would you mind sharing about your transition to stay at home wife? Have you always stayed at home pre children or did you once work outside the home once you were married? How did you maintain your identity once home? I really look up to you as a homemaker and business woman. You give such great advise!

    Best,
    Liz

Thank you Elizabeth! I think it is fantastic that you are ‘able’ and have made the decision to stay home … especially if starting a family is in your future. I was a stay-at-home wife-mom until my youngest was 4. So for the four oldest, that is all they knew … was me being home, being a home-room mom at the school, etc. I then went to work part-time when i started my Health Coaching/training business. I made my own schedule and it revolved around my family.. I think because I had so many children, I somewhat had to run my home like a business. I never felt a sense of loss of identity. I will say however, I use to get myself ready EVERYDAY … head-to-toe. Looking back now, I don’t know how. With all those small children, the the thought, now exhausts me. But, again … Took what i did very seriously and as my job, my business. Now, I am back working mostly from home. I stilled health coaching both via phone and in person. I also do speaking engagements and outside events with my blogging business. But if I am working from home for an entire day and will not be going to any evening events for my kids, I really don’t put myself together. It doesn’t bother me in the least bit, as I am so busy working and taking care of household obligations. I still feel professional and very worthy. I suppose you just grow into that. Great topic. Thanks so much for your question. Have a nice rest of your weekend! xx
