We have been enjoying our mini-vacation in the charming little town of Charlevoix. This is my favorite area to spend lazy, summer days … ok, maybe lazy is stretching it a bit! Non-the-less, it is just a hop, skip, bike or boat ride to some of my favorite towns … Traverse City, Petoskey, Bay Harbor, Harbor Springs, Mackinaw and Mackinac Island. The sunset on Lake Michigan is breathtaking! So much to do … so little time! Hope you have been following along on Snapchat, and enjoying all the adventures! xo

atLove the blog post. I am so ready for fall clothes. From what I can tell the falls colors this year are right up my alley. Burgundy, gray, & black. Love them. I seen on your snap that you picked a pair of burgundy peep toe booties. I would love a pair but not sure I would get the wear out of them. What are you planning on wearing with them? Also, are your nails acrylic ? I had them on for years, thinking about them again for fall/winter. I always like how the fall polish stays so long when you have them. I also bought the bag a don bag insert using the links you provided. Excited for them to arrive.
Thank you Lisa! Fall trends are always my favorite! The colors are great, I agree. As for the Burgundy Peep Toes .. I would wear those with really anything. They would look great with jeans, leggings, and maybe even a skirt… When it comes to a skirt, I really don’t know until I try the whole outfit on together. Because of living in Michigan, you really cannot have too many boots or booties. I never worry about them getting there wear.
Yes, my nails are acrylic. They are all my nails, just overlayed with the acrylic. I have done this for many years. I have nice nails on my own, but I use my hands too much to keep any polish on without doing the acrylic. Hope this was helpful! Thanks for your comment & question. Have a GREAT week! xx
